Dog Days of Buffalo, located at 632 Amherst St. in Buffalo, offers an array of training options for you and your best friend! We focus on POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT training, to help you bond with your dog and make training fun for BOTH of you! For all classes for puppies 6 months and under, your pup MUST have at least 2 Parvo/Distemper vaccines, and Bordetella/Introvac vaccine. Rabies is also required at 4 months of age. For all classes for dogs 6 months and older, your dog must be up to date on the Parvo/Distemper vaccine, Bordetella/Introvac vaccine, and Rabies vaccine. FREE Puppy Party!
(For pups up to 6 months of age)
Puppy socialization parties are an excellent opportunity to expose your puppy to positive play with other puppies in a new environment. One of our trainers is on staff at every party, ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your pup! Puppy party is held EVERY Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. You do not need to call ahead or anything, just show up! Bring proof of vaccinations to your first visit.
Puppy Kindergarten
(For pups up to 6 months of age)

It's NEVER too early to start training your puppy! This 6 week class is full of the information and tools that you need to get you, and your pup, started on the right track. This course covers all the basic commands like sit, stay, down, coming when called, walking on leash and polite greeting. In addition, we will also go over common problem behaviors such as potty training and play biting.
Basic Obedience
(For dogs 6 months and over)
Cost: $135.00
This is a fun 6 week class for you and your dog! Just like it's never too early to start training your dog, it's also NEVER too late! Whether you have had your dog since puppy-hood, or just added them to your family, this class is for you. This course covers all the basic commands like sit, down, walking on leash, stay and coming when called. In addition, we will also cover common problem behaviors like jumping and stealing.
Advanced Obedience
(For dogs that have already taken an obedience class. Discount available if you have previously taken our basic or puppy class.)
Cost: $135.00
Now that your dog has learned their basic commands, we can start working on solidifying them! This 6 week class will use all of the basic commands your dog has learned and add in more distractions. You and your dog will play obedience games to advance your training, while keeping it fun. Your dog won't even realize he's learning!

(For dogs that have already taken an obedience class, have a good knowledge of their commands, and are people and dog friendly.)

This fun 5 week class will use all of your dogs basic commands in REAL LIFE SETTINGS! Every week this class will meet and walk in a different public location to expand your dogs obedience level with distractions. This class is only offered in the warmer months, so HURRY, space is LIMITED!!!!
AKC Canine Good Citizen
This class is for dogs with a great grasp of basic obedience commands and good manners. The Canine Good Citizen test is a 10 part test to see how well mannered your dog is and how well they listen to your commands. We will have a 5 week prep class to get ready for the test. The test will be administered in week 6 by our AKC certified evaluator. This is a great class if you are preparing to become a therapy dog, or if you just want to bragging rights of having a Canine Good Citizen!
